Dr. Gastón Heredia (Argentina), from the Universidad Abierta Interamericana (UAI) Hospital, was awarded the prize for “Best Case” at the Clinical Cases Contest for Young Interventional Cardiologists, sponsored by ABBOTT Vascular. His case was “Endovascular Treatment of an Ascending Aortic Pseudoaneurysm.”
Additionally, Dr. Daniel Saavedra Rodríguez (Bolivia), from Cochabamba Belgium Hospital, was the winner of the Medical Image Contest (sponsored by Siemens Healthineers).
The prize for both consists in coverage of attendance costs for one of the 2017 SOLACI Sessions. This includes plane tickets, hotel fees, and registration fees. Congratulations!
