SOLACI-CACI 2021 Is Here!

After two long years, we meet again at the largest gathering of interventional cardiologists in Latin America: SOLACI-CACI 2021 Congress.

Between August 2 and 6, we will offer a virtual event of high scientific value with international sessions alongside the most prestigious societies worldwide, over 50 international guests, 2 rooms with simultaneous activities, a room with more than 200 ePosters, a space for educational and interactive videos on demand, and a commercial exhibit with the latest news in the industry.

Left to right: Dr. Alfredo Rodríguez, Dr. Aníbal Damonte, Dr. Diego Grinfeld.

During the opening ceremony—led by Dr. José Mangione (President of SOLACI), Dr. Diego Grinfeld (President of CACI), Dr. Aníbal Damonte (President of SOLACI-CACI 2021 Congress), and Dr. Alfredo Rodríguez (President of the SOLACI-CACI 2021 Scientific Committee)—, participants were welcomed to the event and the contents of the sessions planned for the week were presented.

In that sense, Dr. Mangione highlighted the effort made by both societies to keep continuing medical education up to date, and thanked event authorities for the exceptional scientific program they put together.

Also, Dr. Grinfeld noted that “while the pandemic hindered our traveling the past year and a half, we are certain that the virtual SOLACI-CACI 2021 will be as successful as face-to-face congresses.”

Lastly, Dr. Aníbal Damonte—next president of the Latin American Society of Interventional Cardiology (SOLACI)—praised the tireless work of Dr. Alfredo Rodríguez and thanked “the support of the medical industry, which continues backing this type of initiative.” He also noted the participation of the audience, not only at SOLACI-CACI 2021 Congress, but also in the different virtual events that both societies offered during the pandemic.

We invite the entire community to join the activities of SOLACI-CACI 2021 Congress that will be held during this week (August 2-6).

For one time only, and given the difficulties that arose due to the pandemic, the event is open and free (prior registration is required).
