SOCHICAR@SOLACI Symposium at SOCHICAR 2018 Congress

Simposio SOLACI-SOCHICARWithin the 55th Chilean Congress of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery, which is taking place in Concepción, Chile, SOLACI held a Joint Session with SOCHICAR on Structural Heart Disease. The moderators for this session were Dr. Mario Araya (Chile), Dr. Eugenio Marchant (Chile), and Dr. Hugo Londero (Argentina).

 

Among the participating lecturers, the presentations by Marcio Montenegro (Percutaneous Treatment of Functional Mitral Regurgitation: Present and Future), from Brazil, Gabriel Maluenda (Percutaneous Aortic Valve Implantation in Bicuspid Aortic Valve and Aortic Valve Regurgitation), from Argentina, Polentzi Uriarte (Percutaneous Pulmonary Valve Therapy), from Chile, and Hugo Londero himself (Current Role of Percutaneous Carotid Artery Intervention) are worthy of mention.

 

During this session, attendees held a minute’s silence and gave a warm round of applause in memory of Dr. Leandro Martínez Riera (Argentina), a beloved member of SOLACI who passed away in November.
