The third and final day of the SOLACI-SOCIME 2025 Congress concluded with a high-impact scientific agenda, featuring joint sessions with prestigious international institutions and a strong focus on activities led by SOLACI. Discussions ranged from complex coronary interventions to the latest advances in structural therapies, enriched by keynote lectures and oral presentations that elevated the academic experience of attendees.

Joint sessions with Miami Valves, SCAI, CRT, and CACI delved into cutting-edge topics: the present and future of TAVI, management of cardiogenic shock, assessment of microvascular dysfunction, and current challenges in valvular endovascular therapy. These sessions fostered global knowledge exchange and updates on emerging technologies and techniques.
Keynote lectures offered a strategic outlook on the future of transcatheter intervention, including innovations in tricuspid treatment, circulatory support in cardiogenic shock, and the latest advances in coronary imaging to decode atherosclerosis pathophysiology. These sessions served as inspiration for understanding the direction of interventional cardiology.
A central part of the day were the SOLACI sessions, which covered various areas of interest:
- SOLACI Peripheral: Highlighted peripheral artery disease as a cardiovascular risk factor, presented data from the Latin American Registry, and analyzed limb salvage strategies in the region.
- Guidelines and Evidence in Structural Treatments – SOLACI Research: Reviewed current evidence and clinical guidelines on mitral replacement, aortic valve treatment, and approaches to mitral disease, promoting evidence-based practice.
- SOL-SOLACI: Celebrated a decade of the SOLidario program, emphasizing its impact on cardiovascular care for vulnerable populations in Latin America.
- Research SOLACI: Presented clinical guidelines for left main PCI and predictors of stent failure, laying the groundwork for future research.
- SOLACI Sessions: Provided a comprehensive review of complex coronary artery disease management, including left main lesions, calcified cases, drug-coated balloons, and chronic occlusions, concluding with a clinical case presentation.
- MIL-SOLACI: Focused on angina with non-obstructive coronary arteries (ANOCA and INOCA), integrating pathophysiological, prognostic, and patient experience perspectives, along with a clinical case illustrating diagnostic and treatment challenges.
Oral case and abstract presentations showcased clinical experiences and research findings in coronary and structural interventions, fostering debate and collective learning.

On this final day, a new Lunch Symposium was held, featuring an international live case broadcast from Chile.
The congress concluded with a closing keynote lecture by Dr. Héctor García, exploring cutting-edge innovations in coronary imaging and unveiling the underlying mechanisms of atherosclerotic plaques. The event wrapped up with the Closing Ceremony, which included a recap of the congress and the official announcement of the next meeting: SOLACI-SBHCI 2026, promising to continue the path of scientific excellence and international collaboration set forth in this edition.
