SOLACI to Participate in EuroPCR 2026 with a Scientific Session Focused on the Management of Complex Coronary Lesions

The Latin American Society of Interventional Cardiology will have a prominent participation at EuroPCR 2026 through an institutional scientific session bringing together renowned international leaders in the field.

The session will take place on May 21, 2026, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM (UTC +2), in Room 252A at the Palais des Congrès in Paris, France, under the title:

“DCB as a Key Player in the Management of Complex Coronary Lesions”

The session will focus on the role of drug-coated balloons (DCB) in the treatment of complex coronary lesions, addressing highly challenging clinical and anatomical scenarios, as well as the impact of intracoronary imaging and contemporary PCI strategies.

Main Topics of the Scientific Agenda

The session will include presentations and clinical cases focused on:

  • Complex clinical and anatomical scenarios in coronary intervention.
  • DCB use in multivessel disease and long heavily calcified lesions.
  • Intracoronary imaging criteria to guide PCI with DCB.
  • Treatment of complex left main restenosis.
  • DCB applications in coronary bifurcations and Latin American experience.
  • Session evaluation and key clinical takeaways.

SOLACI’s participation at EuroPCR 2026 reinforces the society’s commitment to continuous medical education, international scientific exchange, and the promotion of Latin American interventional cardiology on the world’s leading academic stages.
