06/03 | SOLACI Technicians & Nurses Webinar – Clinical Impact of Structural Interventions: TAVI and MitraClip in Current Practice

The Latin American Society of Interventional Cardiology (SOLACI), through its Technicians and Nurses Department, invites you to participate in a new scientific webinar entitled “Clinical Impact of Structural Interventions: TAVI and MitraClip in Current Practice”, an educational activity designed to review the role and clinical relevance of these therapies in the contemporary management of structural heart disease.

The webinar will take place on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 7:00 pm (GMT -3). The activity will last 60 minutes and will feature simultaneous interpretation in Spanish and Portuguese, facilitating participation from healthcare professionals across Latin America.

The session will be moderated by Fredy Rodríguez Vallejo (Mexico) and Paola Andrea Fontal Vargas (Colombia) and will bring together renowned regional experts:

  • Josué Ruiz (Costa Rica), who will discuss the current status and clinical impact of TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) in daily practice.
  • Juan Heriberto Hernández Martínez (Mexico), who will present an update on the clinical experience and applications of MitraClip in the treatment of mitral regurgitation.

Through expert presentations and discussion, participants will have the opportunity to update their knowledge on two structural heart therapies that have transformed the management of patients with complex valvular heart disease.
