Cooperation Agreement SOLACI-CRF/TCT

On April 12, a five year cooperation agreement was signed in Sao Paulo (Brazil) between SOLACI and CRF/TCT. The agreement was signed by SOLACI President, Dr. Oscar Mendiz, SOLACI Vicepresident, Dr. Jamil Abdala Saad, and CRF/TCT Excecutive Director, Mr. Johnnie White.

The agreement defines several areas of cooperation. Among others, an annual meeting “SOLACI in partnership with TCT”, featuring TCT@SOLACI sessions, organized and coordinated by CRF, with 3 faculty professors provided by TCT. During TCT meetings, SOLACI@TCT lectures, organized and coordinated by SOLACI, will be assigned a premium time schedule.

However, it is worth mentioning this agreement is just the beginning of a series of mutual cooperation activities, such as reciprocal web-site promotion and reciprocal meetings promotion (promotion of TCT during SOLACI Congress/Sessions and promotion of SOLACI during TCT events around the world, which includes meeting journals and flyers).

We would also like to highlight that as from August we will implement a mechanism for SOLACI members living in Latin-American to get a discount in TCTmd Gold memberships, soon to be officially announced.

This agreement has been welcomed by our sponsors and we are confident our associates will feel the same way, seeing the potential for growth and better promotion of cardiovascular intervention in Latin America.

With warm greetings,

Oscar Mendiz
SOLACI President
