The Winners of Colombia Sessions 2022

On October 6, 7 and 8 2022 the 54th Colombian Sessions were held (together with the Colombian Congress of Hemodynamics); a world class scientific event with prestigious cardiologists from the across the continent.

In this framework, the traditional Contest for Young Interventionists took place, and young professionals from different countries presented challenging case studies that were later assessed by a panel of experts.

Jornadas Colombia 2022
Dra. Angela Herrera was awarded the 1st prize.

Dra. Angela Herrera, from Rosario University, from Bogota (Colombia), was awarded the first prize, which consists of a full scholarship for one of the next SOLACI sessions (including air fare, lodging and event registration).

The doctor presented an interesting case entitled “The Challenge of Defining the Order of Very High Risk Percutaneous Intervention in a CAD Patient with Severe Left Main Stenosis and Ventricular Dysfunction.”

From SOLACI, we would like to extend our gratitude to the rest of contestants and also to the 25+ professionals that applied to take part in this important session. Without question, this next generation of interventionists will make us extremely proud.

Likewise, in this occasion the Nurses and Technicians Contest took place, and many specialists from all corners of Latin America shared their knowledge with the rest of the audience. In this occasion, the winner was Omar Valderrama, from Venezuela, who we congratulate for his interesting case on “Congenital Coronary Artery Anomaly Originated in the Contralateral Coronary Sinus”.
