2025 SOLACI Research Grant

By initiative of the board of directors (together with the research department), SOLACI is launching a research grant aimed at improving knowledge and access to endovascular treatments in Latin America.

The 2025 SOLACI Research Grant is open to any LATAM center wishing to participate. A committee composed of the SOLACI Board of Directors and representatives from SOLACI Research will evaluate the submitted proposals and determine which one(s) will be selected to receive the grant.

How to apply for the grant?

To be eligible for the grant, applicants must submit their proposals, which must meet three inclusion criteria:

  • The research must take place in Latin America.
  • Its objective must be either to improve knowledge (e.g., “Prevalence of bicuspid valve disease in patients eligible for TAVI in XXX region”) or to improve access (e.g., “Implementation of an infarction network in rural areas”).
  • The proposal must be feasible. This means that results must be presented within two years of receiving the grant and the budget must not exceed USD 15,000.

For more information, download the complete guide to correctly submit your proposal, including the required steps, documents, and formats.

Steps to follow

  1. Download and complete all required documentation:
  2. Send all attachments in a single email to research@solaci.org.
  3. Proposals will only be accepted in English.
  4. The email must be sent by the principal investigator in charge.
  5. Submit your proposal before the deadline: April 30, 2025.
  6. Final decision: to be published before May 30, 2025.

For more details, carefully read the complete guide to correctly submit the required documentation.

Important*

  • The main manuscript of the study must be published before March 2027.
  • The results must be presented in a special session at the SOLACI Congress 2026.
