MIL Train More MIL: The Training Has Started!

▶ The first group of interventionists women who were granted a scholarship structural heart disease has started at the Cardiovascular Institute of Buenos Aires (ICBA). The program will be held during the week in different centers across Argentina. 

 

The event featured self-expanding and balloon expandable TAVR cases and transcatheter closure of periprosthetic leak. Moreover, complex cases from the Cardiovascular Institute of Rosario were looked into together with Dr. Anibal Damonte, SOLACI’s President.

The aim of MIL Training More MIL is to offer education opportunities in structural heart disease to female doctors across Latin America. 

We thank doctors Pablo Lamelas and Fernando Cura, the Cardiovascular Institute of Buenos Aires (ICBA) and the Cardiovascular Institute of Rosario for collaborating and being a crucial part in the development of this important educational activity
