SOL SOLACI performed a new procedure in Argentina using bioabsorbable stents in pulmonary branches

The SOLACI Solidarity Program carried out a new procedure on a patient from the region of Frías, in Santiago del Estero (Argentina), during October 2025.

This was an angioplasty for distal pulmonary branch stenosis using fully bioabsorbable stents. The procedure was performed at the Children’s Hospital of Córdoba by Dr. Alejandro Peirone, a renowned pediatric interventional cardiologist and active SOLACI member.

SOLACI thanks SIPROTEC for the donation of the devices and for its commitment to this initiative with high social impact.
